Spring Signature Cocktails

Impress your friends and family at the next gathering with these pastel (and delicious), Spring themed cocktails!  They are also great for a Signature Cocktails at a wedding!  They can be used as Bride & Groom or another way to bring your colors into the wedding, if they are pink and blue! Enjoy!

The first is a Pink Bonnet cocktail, complete with a foamy texture! 

 Ingredients (for one cocktail):

•          1-1/2 ounces gin
•          1/2 ounce simple syrup
•          3/4 ounce lemon juice
•          2 dashes of crème de framboise or grenadine (for color)
•          White of a small egg

(or you can use approximately two tablespoons of egg white substitute)  

Preparation:  

•          Shake all ingredients without ice to emulsify the egg whites
•          Shake all ingredients with ice & strain into a small cocktail glass
•          Add fresh muddled mint leaves, if desired

The next drink is called the simple Blue Cottontail.

Ingredients (for one cocktail): 

•          1-1/2 ounces vodka
•          1/2 ounce triple sec
•          1/4 ounce blue Curaçao
•          Flamed orange peel (for garnish)

Preparation:  

•          Shake ingredients well
•          Stain into a chilled martini glass
•          Flame the orange peel over the glass
